RULES AND REGULATIONS
The event will be conducted under the Australian Rogaining
Association rules and technical regulations.
Note that GPS-enabled devices and mobile phones may be taken on course
only if they are contained within a WARA-supplied tamper-proof non-see-through container and that they are logged in
and out by Administration. Failure to return a device in its original, unopened container, will result in disqualification.
Teams & Categories:

Teams must consist of between two and five people.

All team members must already be or become members of a
rogaining association. (Don't worry, you can join the WA Rogaining
Association as part of your entry if you aren't already a member.)
If you are a member of another Australian State Rogaining Association - please tell us which association in the comment box.

Teams are classified into categories based on team member:

Your team will be automatically entered into the appropriate categories based on
birthdate and gender information you provide.

Determination of the Australian and Interstate Champions is based on the address information you provide with your entry.

WARA also has additional categories which will form part of the event but do not carry an 'Australasian Rogaine Championship' title:
- Family: Teams comprising of children and their parent(s) or
step-parent(s) or grandparent(s) and at least one team member younger than 14 years of age.
- Junior: All team members must are 14 years or over and are under 18 years.
- Novice: All team members must never have rogained before.
- Intervarsity: All team members are students at any tertiary institution.
- School: All team members must be under 18 and at least 14 years old and must be students at the same school.
- Cadet: All team members are Cadets (CALM Bushrangers, State Emergency Service, St. John's, Police, Army, Navy, Air Force, etc.)

Any team with a person under 14 years must also have one person 18 years or over.

Junior Supervision: Groups of ten or more Juniors MUST
be supervised throughout the event at the campsite (hash house site) by a non-competing adult.
